The homeowners of Chadwick Farms are in opposition to the proposed Litsey Cottage development phase 2. Their primary concern is the addition of rental housing, which they feel will lead to an overpopulation of the area and put undue pressure on the schools.

The Chadwick Farms community believes that such a development would harm the quality of life in the area and weaken the school system, which has a direct impact on the education of their children. Additionally, the increase in traffic on Litsey Rd, Cleveland Gibbs , Byron Nelson Blvd and SH 114 is a significant concern. They are dedicated to protecting the integrity of their community and are willing to fight for their rights as homeowners.

The Litsey Cottage expansion must be declined to preserve the charm and character of the Chadwick Farms, Seventeen Lakes and Bluffview neighborhoods.

IF YOU'D LIKE TO ATTEND THE HEARING: Those in opposition of the proposed expansion are asked to wear RED to the hearing, Wednesday, May 10TH, 1:00 PM

The feedback from our neighborhood has been consistent and clear about the risks of this expansion. Please call the planning department today and tell them the traffic on Litsey Road already exceeds safe levels. We are currently preparing our testimony to present at the hearing.

The momentum behind our opposition has grown into a force developers cannot ignore. Post the link to your Facebook feed today and include a clear note about why our schools and roads cannot handle this expansion.

I moved here from Southlake, and they banned any apartments or rental property for the very same reasons...the city has a duty to protect the quality of life for the homeowners.

My opposition is not the building of new homes. It is the issue of access based on more than 25 years of experience in public safety.

Our area has already gotten so crowded even before phase 1 people have moved in. Traffic is significantly worse than just last year. Please don't cram more people in such a small area! Things get way worse when there's a race at Texas Motor Speedway

There are too many rental properties surrounding the Chadwick Farm neighborhood. This will ultimately effect the homeowners property value.

Without an immediate plan to accommodate traffic and increase demand on the local schools, this is an easy "No" from me.

As a resident of Chadwick Farms since 2007, the current infrastructure cannot support all of this housing growth.
