Your identity is not a checkbox. Who you are shouldn’t be constrained to eight simple options. When asked of our race we shouldn’t have to pick the option we are given. We should be able to fill in who we are. We created this petition to change the way race is asked on standardized test (ACTs, SATs, etc), job applications, college common application, social media, and anything that wants to know who you are.
