SUMMARY:

Pursuant to the matter of amending section(s) 1.4, 2.12 and 5.1.72 (and others not listed) of the FP Authorized Dealer Pricing and Policies Guide regarding meter credit(s) for postage meters that are installed outside a Selling Dealer’s territory we; the undersigned; request that the following points be considered and that the FP Authorized Dealer Pricing and Policies Guide be amended to split (one (1) credit for the Selling Dealer and one (1) credit for the Installing/Servicing Dealer)

• Currently the Selling Dealer receives no meter credit for Major Accounts or Corporate Accounts where the installation takes place outside of the Selling Dealer’s territory with 2 meter credits being assigned to the Installing/Servicing Dealer or FP House/Corporate
• Currently there is little to no incentive for a Selling Dealer to place meters for accounts outside of their territory when the selling activities are performed within the territory and the decision regarding the geographical placement of a meter also takes place within the territory
