Through the years the students of ACHS have been able to alter their schedules as seen fit before the beginning of the next school year. Now all of the sudden we are no longer given that privilege? I understand we are using new programs to assist with scheduling. What I don't understand is the lack of organization, and the lack of student interest on the behalf of ACHS administration. We should not be denied the privileges that previous classes had, privileges that may have helped them to succeed, just because administration could not create a sufficient plan to deal with the new technology. It is appalling to think that students are being denied the right to better themselves in the classroom because certain individuals could not get their job done. The students of Ashe County High School today deserve the same opportunities as the classes that came before them.
