Chao are adorable little virtual pets that can be found in the sonic the hedgehog world. In a couple of sonic games, such as the sonic adventure series, there is a place called a chao garden where you can raise your own chao and have it race against other chao as well as fight other chao. It has been several years since a sonic game has had a chao garden in it and many sonic fans are getting quite disappointing in sonic team and SEGA for not creating another one. The game could take full advantage of the 3ds' spotpass and streetpass features enabling one to trade chao with other 3ds owners and race their chao against other ones online using streepass.
