I Am Starting this Petition in order to stop the usage of the name Chi-raq for the city of Chicago. Chicago used to be a safe place where children could walk to the corner store without worries. Used to be a place of fun and enjoyment. The title Chi-raq was created to give a title to the recent violence breakout that has been occurring. It is a deplorable comparison to a war-zone. This Petition may not stop the violence however it may bring a change in morality. When did it become okay to give a name to murder, robbery, and assault?. Every signature is a person agreeing to the city that once was so beautiful and accepting. Lets stop the crime in Chicago by making the first step and agreeing that that the Name Chi-Raq is meaningless. #AntiChiraq
