Parents should have the choice to decide where their child receives an education. Families of children who have special needs do not always get that chance to make a choice. The choice is made for them. Families all over our state want to have the choice to send their children to a school where they can receive an education that helps them reach their full potential, and to be able to do it in a Christian atmosphere. There are only a few schools within the Jackson area who accept some children with special needs. Those schools do amazing things for those children, but it still leaves hundreds of families without a choice.
Our vision is to create an accredited private Christian school for these families. The school would accept all disabilities regardless of cognitive delay, medical frailty, or physical limitations. The dream is to be able to provide licensed therapist, special education teachers, resource aides, language and behavioral specialist, and more. Academics and therapy services will help these children reach their fullest potential, but the heart of the school will be to do all of these things while laying a solid Christian foundation.
With the school being an accredited private school in MS, students would be eligible to receive the ESA grant to help pay for tuition or other services.

There are literally no resources in the state of MS for children with Autism and other disabilities, forcing families like mine to uproot and move unless something changes. Please I beg for a change for our children for our future. THEY ARE OUR FUTURE!
As Christian parents, we desperately need this option. Why would we want less for our children with special needs than we do for our "typical" children who we send to Christian schools?
What I would give to have this available now for my 5 year old granddaughter who has autism and SPD!
This Christian school for children with special needs would be the answer for many families of these children! As a former preschool special educator, I can see the benefits of this becoming a "special" environment for these precious lives!!
This would be amazing for our children with special needs, as most schools aren't equipped to handle children with heart issues, & other special needs.

This is really needed. The few that will take special needs children have certain criteria that my son at the time couldn't meet.
