In January of 2022, the Arizona regulators voted against the clean energy mandate intended to help Arizona's power companies reach a 100% carbon-free slate by the next few decades. The proposal was rejected by 3-2 votes, and the final decision-making has been moved to May.

Restriction to clean energy should not be finalized so quickly by the words of just a few politicians. This bill will tremendously help decrease the climate-polluting nature of many companies, help the environment, and set an example for other states nationwide. Through this petition, we can help bring light to the words and support of those in favor of helping Arizona flourish in pursuit of sustainable energy.
