We the undersigned, who love and enjoy the characters of Cloak and Dagger, especially in their recent appearance in the "Spider Island" event tie-in miniseries written by Nick Spencer with art by Emma Rios, urge Marvel Comics to allow readers to further enjoy these characters by launching an ongoing series, preferably by the same creative team.
It is obvious from the ending of the Spider Island miniseries that Nick Spencer has further story ideas, and both he and editor Steve Wacker have discussed in interviews that they were treating the miniseries as a "first story arc" for a potential ongoing. In addition, there has been much talk lately from Marvel Studios about a Cloak and Dagger television series. Now would be the perfect time to raise the profile of these characters, as well as create a more modern backlist of stories that the show could draw from and potential viewers could read.
