Shut Down Papasito Mexican Grill, Inwood, Manhattan 10034
The undersigned of this petition respectfully call upon the State Liquor Authority to not renew the on premises liquor license for Papasito Mexican Grill, 223 Dyckman Street, Inwood, Manhattan, 10034.
We are in agreement that the restaurant from its opening has been operating outside the scope and boundaries of its license, and is more like a nightclub than a restaurant.
The owners have continuously sidestepped and ignored agreements with Community Board 12 and the residents in the area.
As of this writing, ongoing problems with Papasito regarding noise, crowd control,
loitering, patrons urinating in public, or in adjoining or nearby apartment buildings, fights, patrons double parking and blasting music from vehicles outside of the establishment, patrons drinking outside the premises, loud music played through open windows of the dining area late at night, a cafe seating area that does not close on time and dancing within the premises accompanied by loud music without being licensed as a cabaret are issues that the residents in the direct area, and the community members of Inwood, Manhattan 10034 do not want.
We believe that the community would be better served by a business owner who is committed to operating in good faith and within our community standards regarding quality of life issues.
Thank you for considering our opinion in this matter.
