This is a request to Closter Mayor and Council Members,

We, the undersigned, all current residents of Closter, are asking for the town to establish a dog park.

Many great cities across the country have already recognized the benefits of dog parks, and we believe that our great town should join them.

As dog owners and lovers, we believe that a dog park would greatly benefit Closter's community. A dog park would provide a safe and enclosed area for dogs to exercise, socialize and play, away from busy streets and other potential hazards.

Moreover, a dog park would create a sense of community among dog owners, bringing together people from different backgrounds who share a common interest in dogs.

It would also provide a family-friendly environment where children (even those who do not own a dog) can enjoy playing with dogs and learn about responsible dog ownership.

We are willing to work with the town toward the establishment and of course the ongoing maintenance of the park.
