Whearas, six to ten percent of residential energy use gets used by electric dryers, Whereas, electricity production harms the environment, Whereas, most people are able to use a clothesline, Whereas, dryers are expensive and clotheslines are more easily afforded, Whereas, clotheslines, like windmills, are a beautiful, organic art form, Whereas, it is a restriction on personal freedom and liberty to restrict or prohibit clothesline use, We, therefore, demand that you strip all bylaws, covenants, and ordinances prohibiting or restricting residents from making full use of clotheslines.
