Dear Fellow residents of Oak Springs Mobile Home Community,

Hi, my name is Autumn. My family has lived in this very community since I was a baby( that's almost 30 years). I grew up in this neighborhood , Like me my kids are too. Now, I remember every year this community coming together and celebrating the holidays. If its decorating your house for Halloween and sitting outside and watch the trick or treaters come up and ask for candy. If it's getting together for Thanksgiving and having a Potluck dinner. If it's the entire park coming together and putting Christmas lights up to make it look like a magical wonder land( it use to be so beautiful that people would stop on by just to see the lights). Putting eggs out for the kids for Easter. Oh and let's not forget the Pool parties. My husband and I wanted things like that for our kids too. Which, I'm sure you do as well. I know we all may not get along all the time. But we are a community that has our future in it(our kids). Since a very upsetting serious of events have taken place involving my children, my husband and I decided to try and correct the issues. We started to have fun days with our kids and whom ever wanted to join. Well, unfortunately we haven't been able to do much with the cold and flu going around. So, we wanted to start hosting movie night once a month ( depending on how it goes) for the kids to all come and hang out. Also, we wanted to start adult night. Where adults come and play games and have good clean relaxing fun. However, its said to say it looks like none of that will be possible. Due to the new management not wanting to do any community activities or events.... all that is gone. If you would like to have these events to carry on as they have for years and would like to have these extra events please let our new Manager Jad know. As of now it looks to be, there will be no Thanksgiving Potluck. I am want what we deserve. If you feel the same please like. If need be I will be starting a petition to allow these things to happen.
