The administration at Académie Marie-Claire finally folded and dropped the tuition hike. They realized they could not ignore 126 families who refused to be treated like blank checks. We won this round, but stay sharp because we need to hold them to their word.

Dear Director of Académie Marie-Claire,

We, the undersigned parents of students at your school, are writing to express our concern regarding the recent announcement of a nearly 20% increase in tuition fees.

We understand the importance of providing a high-quality education for our children, but the sudden and significant hike in fees has caused financial strain on many of our families.

We would like to request that the school consider alternative options for increasing revenue, such as seeking funding from outside sources, in combination with cost cutting in areas not impacting education, rather than placing the burden solely on the parents.

Furthermore, we would appreciate a clear explanation of the reasons behind this fee increase, as well as a detailed breakdown of how the additional funds will be used to improve the education and experience of our children.

We hope that Académie Marie-Claire will take our concerns into consideration and work with us to find a solution that benefits both the school and the families it serves.

Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

Sincerely,

The Parents

The sheer number of people joining this fight proves that the administration cannot ignore us anymore. Académie Marie-Claire management keeps hiding behind their spreadsheets while trying to bleed families dry. We are finally forcing them to stop and look at the real damage they are causing.

I agree. Other solutions must be considered first. There are many cost reduction measures that must be implemented such as but not limited to the excessive catering during several school events.

I am opposed to the increase in tuition fees, especially this time the increase is too outrageous, if it increases again, I will transfer to another school

Agree! We have signed next year’s contract at the beginning of the school year, the price should be fixed.

I would like to see detailed cost break down to justify the tuition fee increase proposed before decision is made.

oversize class, without real concern on the students' growth. The school can not solely treat it as business. What a pity.

I support this petition, as the increase is excessive, and as many other parents I will look for plan B. The school should set priorities for spending , focus on high quality education first, and cut all unnecessary expenses.

If we agree this time, the future increase will be even more aggressive. AMC is ripping us off.
