I am currently organizing the correspondence between our group and the church leadership to formally request a sit down meeting regarding the selection process. While we wait for a response from the elders, I am drafting a summary of our arguments based on the historical and scriptural points raised in this petition.

The growth of this petition indicates that a clear majority of the congregation is ready for a formal selection process. I am currently drafting a letter to the leadership board to request a meeting where we can present these signatures and discuss a transition to biennial elections.

The leadership needs to reflect the people in the pews. It is time for a change.
We deserve a say in who leads our church family. Acts 1 is clear about how things should be done.
WHY ARE THE MEMBERS BEING IGNORED?? This is our church too.
Transparency is what we need. Hope this starts a real conversation.
Too much closed door decision making. Let the members decide.

Been waiting for someone to bring this up for years. Really hope they actually listen to us for once.
