Dear LDP Directors at IIMC

This is to bring to your notice that APDS Batch 4 participants are not fully satisfied with the number of hours covered in the course. The IIM APDS website as well as the information provided by VCNow before joining the course mentioned that the classes will be covered every Wednesday and Sunday during the period of the program. This amounts to 312 (52 * 2 * 3) hours. Moreover in the offer letter rolled out by VCNow, it is clearly mentioned that the classes will be conducted every Wednesday & Sunday a week.

These concerns have also been discussed with APDS Program Directors and during the meeting, the Program directors confirmed that 60Hrs has been reduced as compared to the previous batch. APDS PD also confirmed that not more than 215hours will be conducted for Batch 4.

APDS Batch4 participants have joined this course with certain important criteria in mind and that this is a rigorous course with IIM level case-based teaching. Hence, the 275+hours (every Wed & Sun class) was one of the important factors of joining APDS as compared with other programs in the market (including other IIM).

Considering the offer rolled out by VCnow & IIMC and the IIMC website information (which has now been changed) we would urge the LDP office to consider our request to increase the hours for the APDS Program to at least 275hrs, if not 312hrs, for Batch 4. This helps the participants learn concepts that are otherwise not covered or given as self-reading.
