Hi,

If you are a resident at High View Apartments I'm sure you are aware of the construction site next door. A few other residents including myself have found the noise disturbing and often outside of the 'approved hours'.

As with any construction site, we have to expect a little noise, however:

• There was no letter or notice given to residents of High View Apartments.
• Construction starts well before 7am some days and before 9am on the weekend, this is against state rules and regulations.
• The noise from passing trucks, street sweepers and other machines are too loud and should not be allowed until after a reasonable hour.
• Incredibly loud truck horns between 6:00 - 7:30am

I have spoken to other residents and we would like to propose alternate construction times.

We propose that construction during the week (including trucks and sweepers) does not start until 7:45am. On the weekend we want to enforce the 9am start time.
