Keep Cop Killer Anthony Wayne McIntosh in Jail 87
Patrolman Jeffrey Manning Phegley was shot and killed in the line of duty on January 21, 1987, while performing a routine traffic stop. He was a Police Officer for the Village of Morrow in Warren County, Ohio. Jeff was 22 years old. He was left to die in the street beside his cruiser. He was a loving son, brother, cousin and friend and is greatly missed. Inmate McIntosh chose murder over a traffic citation. He should be required to serve his life sentence and not be released back into an unsuspecting society. His brutal and vicious actions clearly demonstrate he has no respect or regard for law or for human life. Please do not let the ultimate sacrifice Officer Phegley made while protecting his community be in vain. A jury convicted Anthony Wayne McIntosh of the murder on August 18, 1987. He was sentenced to 15 years to life with an additional 3 years for using a gun during the commission of his crime. In March 2000, Inmate McIntosh was granted a parole hearing. The Parole Board recommended that parole be denied and that recommendation was reviewed and upheld by the Central Office Review Board of the Ohio Adult Parole Authority. Inmate McIntosh is once again coming up for parole. We need your help. Please take a few minutes to sign this petition or write a personal letter requesting that Inmate McIntosh's parole again be denied, and that he be required to serve his life sentence.
