Katie Sutton, a student mental health nurse from Stockport believes that the Asylum Maze is somehow detrimental and stigmatising towards those with mental health issues.

I defend her right to be offended at anything she so wishes, but to try to pass that being offended off as a reason for something to change is beyond the curve. The fact that she believes that something enjoyed by thousands of people over years should be closed or renamed because she doesn't like it, and let us bear in mind she only heard about it via the medium of Twitter, is completely nonsensical.

She is seeking out as many people as possible to try to force the hand of Merlin Entertainment, who have stated that in the 8 years the attraction has been running during Halloween they haven't had enough complaints (is this not indication enough that this is not a problem?) so I would like you to sign this counter-petition to keep things as they are please.

Pass it on, and let us defend not only an individual's right to be offended but the right to have fun!

Oh for god sake its just a bit of halloween fun. Nobody is actually equating a ghost train to real mental health struggles. Get a grip.

its a theme park attraction not a medical facility. stop trying to ruin everything just because you saw it on twitter.
