• MASS PETITION TO HON’BLE AMBASADOR OF INDIA, RIYADH

Most Respected Sir,

May we, the undersigned parents from Buraidah International Indian School submit this humble petition to your excellency for review and kind consideration.

The prolonged locked down and the ongoing Covid-19 situation have resulted unprecedented uncertainty in unparalleled magnitude reducing or nullifying the source of income, thereby misbalancing the personal and family life. In this regard, Buraidah is the worst hit, as its main business hub (Khubaib) was totally closed for many months and hasn’t recovered yet.

Sometimes earlier, your excellency had advised all Indian Schools in the Kingdom not to collect any subsidiary fee, except the tuition fee. Unfortunately, in IIS Buraidah, all subsidiary payments are included in the tuition fee , and the community is not benefitted at all.

The operational cost of the school, for sure, has been substantially reduced especially on the cost items such as, but not limited to, electricity, cleaning materials and salary of cleaners, electrical and electronics, maintenance and repairs, stationery, lab related items, AC services, sports and various annual functions and refreshments etc.

In view of the above, it is a very humble petition that your excellency, in the capacity of Chief Patron of Indian Schools in the Kingdom, may immediately initiate the reduction of the fee at least by 50% and implement the same at least from the last quarter of 2020-21, thereby distributing part of the savings made this year to the parents community.
