As students of the CSE 3342 class "Programming Languages" we feel that the teaching in this class was less than subpar. We were not taught what we were expected to do for assignments. Assignments were vague, graded inconsistently, and assigned inconsistently. The midterms asked questions on topics we had not seen, questions were vague and could have multiple answers even though he would mark them wrong if you provided multiple right answers. When approached about the exam we were simply told that that is how it is graded and were not awarded points back for questions that were blatantly wrong or were graded wrong. When students would ask questions in class regarding assignments or exams we were typically answered with something not remotely close to what would resemble a reasonable answer.

As students of this class we are concerned that this class will unfairly affect our GPAs and ask for audience with a department coordinator or someone in a position that could help us resolve the situation.
