For years I have dreamed of seeing H.P. Lovecraft's timeless creation immortalised on the silver screen. With today's technology, big Hollywood budgets and highly talented cinematic visionaries, I think it is the right time to give the"un-film-able"Cthulhu the treatment they deserve.
In my eyes, Cthulhu should now be given its place among the classic giants of cinema such as King Kong and Godzilla. It is being referenced more and more in popular culture such as South Park and many musical groups referencing the Lovecraftian creation and I strongly feel there is a need for this to happen.
MY AIM is to generate as many signatures from around the world as possible, then directly contact a specific selection of suitable Studios,Directors, Producers and Writerswith the petition & Facebook campaign page to show them that the world wants this to happen and would result in an amazing cinematic premise.
Though I do have specific people in mind, please feel free to suggest who you think would be suitable for the undertaking of direction/production/writing via your signature or the Facebook campaign page - https://www.facebook.com/cthulhucampaign

Being an avid, in-depth lover of H.P. Lovecraft's work, I would also like to volunteer myself to provide fan/punter input on the premise and inception of the idea; an approach/P.O.V. I think would be important in such a specifically praised tale.

(I in no way mean to appear ignorant of the work of The HP Lovecraft Film Festival, CthulhuCon, the HP Lovecraft Historical Society, the Silent 2005 "The Call of Cthulhu" and "The Forbidden Shadow"/"La Sombra Prohibida" - I simply wish to see a big budget, Speilberg-sized epic blockbuster dedicated to the majesty of Cthulhu)
