To the Provincetown Town Manager, Board of Selectmen and Chief of Police:We, the undersigned people of Provincetown and elsewhere, are petitioning the Town of Provincetown to consider the re-hiring of Mr. Donald Thomas for seasonal employment as a traffic directing officer. Mr. Thomas, better known as "The Dancing Cop", has been a summer fixture in Provincetown for decades and has performed his task professionally, has successfully kept the flow of traffic moving at the busiest intersection in town, while at the same time giving visitors a glimpse of the "personality " of Provincetown they came here to see. Please, reconsider his employment.Sincerely,The Undersigned
