Del Rio Citizens have a water issue that needs to be resolved. Our water bills have risen excessively making it almost impossible to pay. We have been told it's a leak or bad water pipes. Even vacant homes have received a bill. Elderly are trying very hard to make ends meet with high water bills. We have all been given the runaround to the problem.
We are seeking immediate relief to this issue. No one at City Hall can give us a true and real explanation as to what is taking place. Del Rio has been forced to spend thousands of dollars while the City recuperates from a hacking to their system that happened over a year ago.
We would like to see a peaceful yet satisfactory solution to the problem we as City, face. Please sign this petition now. Let your voice be heard. Let's all unite and bring a real solution to this issue.

I was informed I have a leak at my house. That was the reason I have $500 plus bill. In several months I was billed twice. My house hold is my husband & son who work out of town & myself. We had the city inspector come over & did not find leaks at my property
My bill is over $700.00 I’m not sure what exactly is going on BUT something needs to be done! This is unfair! One income in a household of 7 And bills like these is absurd!
Their very unorganized, I get billed sometimes twice a month cause they say they're trying to keep up with the system of the the whole hacking deal. Different due dates all the time ,it just needs to be resolved.
Ridiculous bill at my place of business. Repeatedly questioned why/how the bill was so expensive, but only received the typical response “you must have a leak on your side of the meter!”.
The water bills are crazy mine has also gradually increased and never have I paid over 100 now it’s tripled and for our seniors to get outrageous bills and get ridiculous responses from the office employees is uncared for.
I agree with this petition. We need change.
I had a leaky Water Heater but I am still getting really high Water bills and I love alone in a house where the only Water I have really have access to is from my bath tub

I was billed over $600.00 dollars while on vacation in Idaho and was gone almost 5 months! No water used other than watering my trees once every two weeks. I owe almost $900.00 according to the City. Scam!!!!!
