We the undersigned request that FISM demand that Derek Lever be replaced as convention President 2012 / organiser Derek Lever has become an international embarrassment to FISM whose stated aim is to promote the art of magic. How can the FISM 2012 President publicly demean one of Britain's most accomplished magicians and others in his actions,words and press comments. Many magicians are venting their dismay via forums and many UK based magicians feel that Derek Lever is not the 'best man' for the job in hand . There are websites online concerning Mr Lever that prove others are more than unhappy with the way he has behaved in the past and FISM would be best served in attempting to avoid any further embarrassment that Mr Lever may bring.
