Direct funding towards lowering the costs of mental health services
Petition starts here:
We are a year 13 Social studies group, as part of our internal assessment we are presenting a petition, we are aiming to direct funding towards lowering the costs of therapy, assessment of your mental state, improve mental health helplines, and increase mental health awareness nation wide. We believe that currently, services such as therapy are too expensive for the vast majority of individuals, denying many from accessing the help they need. The quality of our helplines are also in need of a change as poor experiences from individuals that have tried to use the availble helplines, and the increase in funding towards these services could provide real and impactful results.
