Under Sports Horse Breeding of Great Britain (SHB (GB)), the governing body of all Hunter and Sports Horses classes, rulenumber 48 Hstates thathorses must be shod all round - no remedial shoeing, such as pads or surgical shoes, norfront shoes only. If you haveremedial shoes oryour horse isbarefoot, you will not be allowed to compete in classes that use these SHB(GB) rules, no matter what the discipline. It was hoped that the rules would be changed aftera meeting was set upwith the Blair International Horse Trials, British Riding Clubs and the British Horse Society.
