After all the revealing evidence stacked against those running together for the SEIU-UHW MUST Slate, we call on the Election Committee to disqualify their entire slate IMMEDIATELY.
Witness statements of paid staff campaigning on work time using Union resources. Witness statements of paid staff collecting ballots. Witness statements of paid staff intimidating members to vote for them and/or change their ballot vote. Mounting evidence in the form of screen shots that paid staff and candidates lied, cheated and stole from our members. Most damning is the evidence brought forward from one of their own slate members showing that they forged her signature on her nomination and she never collected signatures needed to qualify. We have asked for evidence that the slate turned in their nominations and petitions to the appropriate PO Box, and the Election Committee determined their qualifications and candidacy. Come to find out, the Election Committee, hand selected by our incumbent president, states they are unaware of any ongoing issues and emails being received or sent with their signatures included.
After years of being bullied, retaliated against and ignored, our membership demand that the MUST Slate be disqualified and the SEIU-UHW MEMBER DRIVEN SLATE be elected in. A new election for vacant Executive Committee and Executive Board seats will be held so that safeguards are set in place for these types of malfeasance not to occur again.
We expect expedited attention to this manner!

Our current union leaders are not allowing members to receive education on how to defend ourselves. We pay dues ,but have no union books . They do nothing to empower us and support us locally. It feels like the union is a country club and not a labor union. Everyone is in his or her own groups and think because they've been together so long that it counts as experience, It counts as failures when we lose at the bargaining table. I am sick of helping other states before our own calfornia needs. Our money should help our state and members. We got to stop Horrible education programs like futuro and education fund. It is shameful to Run out of money ,but got money to give other states is really irresponsible. Make out union back labor ,not politicians.
They also went out of their way to delay information to me when I inquired how I could vote seeing how I am current in all dues owed for 2022
For current leadership stealing union members money. Along with appointing certain individuals in as a shop Stewart’. without getting there fellow brother and sisters union members signatures also forging the signature of the appointee without the appointed individual knowing
SEIU-UHW members deserve better than the malfeasance and retaliation of the must slate.
This is BEYOND embarrassing and illegal actions taken by our union. We demand the Election Committee to ACT NOW and disqualify the entire slate. Federal investigation to follow.

This is rigged! I demand a recount! But not the same people counting we need someone different to count our ballots!
