Marvel Studios' (extremely 'ant'icipated) 20th movie, Ant-Man and the Wasp is intended to release everywhere in early July 2018, except for the United Kingdom, which has been cursed with a whole month delay!

I appreciate everything that Marvel has done for me, as I'm the biggest fan there is - I just happen to have been born in the wrong country it seems! I know that at the end of the day, there are very important matters in the world, and after all, this is just a movie, but the UK deserves to enjoy Ant-Man and the Wasp at the same time as the rest of the world. Not to mention the difficulty of avoiding spoilers for such a long period of time! (Infinity War spoilers flooded the internet after just one day!) This petition will probably seem petty for anyone not invested into this franchise, and that's okay, but for those of you like myself, this is disappointing!

I don't want this petition to be deemed as an outright complaint, as I love Marvel Studios and the movies they've made for the past decade, but I for one am incredibly passionate and eager to see the MCU's next instalment when the movie was initially intended to be released. I appreciate the effort of everyone involved; Peyton Reed, Kevin Feige etc - my only wish is to enjoy what you have all spent so much hard work in creating at the same time as everyone else.

If my voice were to be heard by the people in control of these matters, I hope they read with consideration, and if there is absolutely no way to retract the delay, I hope there is a means for super-fans like myself to watch a special 'advanced' screening, for those of us restricted to the UK.

I've heard of a few potential reasons for the delay, though none of them quite justify the long wait, nor do they seem like hindrances to the movie being released in July for the UK.
