Diversity Works: initiating change in the employment world
The program aims to initiate and propel a paradigm shift in the hi tech sector by creating an inclusive work environment.
The majority of employers in Israel's economy understand the business incentive behind a diverse work force and integration of diverse populations. Despite this understanding, only 1% of the managerial positions in Israel's economy are filled by populations removed from the workforce. Only 6% of companies in TA100 Index are managed by women.
Diversity Works initiative aims to resolve this misrepresentation by creating a managerial track for suitable candidates, nurturing the next generation of hi tech senior management.
The programs model is structured to assist GMs and CEO's whom have the authority and ability to deploy the program in their organization. Thus, the success of the process is congruent to senior management's commitment to shift the way they do business.
Program objectives are:
- Awareness: Enhance diversity -awareness in the workplace as a growth engine
- Action: Create and enhance best practices towards diversity
- Advocacy: Promote values of inclusiveness and integration across sector
The program consists of summits, CEO forum, HR forum, HR workshops, HR forum and more.
I agree to promote these objective, to the best of my power and ability, in my organization. I do so understanding that the programs pillars are it's partners. As such partner, I will enhance common practices, adopt new ones and continue to advocate for this cause.
