We, the undersigned friends of ASAP, support the immediate vote by the Board of Directors of ASAP to offer the currently open position of Executive Director of ASAP, to Dorothy Poppe. We believe that Dorothy Poppe is the most qualified candidate for the position based on her years of service within the organization, her dedication to ASAP, her contacts within the medical community, and her compassion towards the SM/CM community at large. The Board needs to be aware of the support for Dorothy Poppe by members of the Medical Advisory Board, the donors of ASAP, the volunteers, and the general membership of ASAP. We, the undersigned, strongly support Dorothy Poppe, and believe she would be the best person to lead ASAP at this time. We respectfully request consideration of this petition, and we look forward to being notified of the Board\'s decision, preferably by a posting on the ASAP website or in the next edition of Connections.
