In my opinion it isn't fair to discriminate against people with their GED. Legally, it is the equivalent to a high school diploma. Some people just aren't meant for school. For my boyfriend, continuing his high school career wasn't practical. He needed a job and quick. He got his GED & joined the finishers union. Havana High School is not allowing him to go to homecoming because he doesn't have his high school diploma. In my opinion this is very rude and judgmental. Help me show the school board how judgemental this is.

The school office still refuses to budge on their policy. Being barred from a dance for getting a GED remains completely ridiculous.

My boy got his GED and he is doing great for himself. Keep the dance open to everyone who wants to go and have a good time.
