Dear Hult Dual Degree students,

We recently received an email from the administration stating that there will be five separate graduation ceremonies for each cohort. The ceremonies are scheduled to all take place on March 23rd, either in Fenway or an auditorium in the Education First Building. This means that some cohorts will be having their ceremonies at the same time as other cohorts. Many of our friends and family are flying from thousands of miles away to watch us graduate, expecting a proper graduation; a graduation that will be the last one for many of us. Hult views the five ceremonies as the best solution but we think we can do better. Sign this petition to voice your disapproval of this inadequate solution - If we have the support of the majority of the student body, we can try and push for a better solution for our graduation!

I am honestly overwhelmed by the number of people who have reached out to share their own travel stories and frustrations. It is clear that I am not the only one who feels this way about our graduation, and this momentum belongs entirely to the rest of you.

Don't split us in our very last moment together! We will probably never have a chance to be all together at the same moment in the same place. Hult is well known for its diversity and integration, let's keep it that way!

This is for most of us our very last year of university and it is worth celebrating! Hence we and our family expect a proper graduation ceremony along with more implication and efforts from the school.

Dual Degree or not, whenever a group of students who contribute to the school both financially and intellectually graduated from school, it is a moment worth celebrating and showing appreciation from both Hult and the Hult students. The lack of the planning for the First-time-ever Hult Dual-Degree graduate students does not reflect the culture of the Hult as one of the most international schools around the world. Both parties deserve a better graduation ceremony.

A graduation with everyone is our desired, The level of involvement or formality is neither the problem or the question? We are not asking for an elaborate event, just fit us all in a hall and award the degrees. Budgets are slim is all we hear, and we collectively believe putting together an event for less than 300 students would definitely not put a dent in the school account. Make it work #Hult #HultDualDGrad18

I wouldn't mind paying for tickets, in order to have a better graduation ceremony

We reserver a proper graduation. To offer a small and insignificant graduation is disrespectful for us as students and gives the message that the dual degree isn’t worth Hults attention.

It’s really wonderful to graduate with 5 cohorts. We’re all good friends.
