In 1975 the best ride disney ever came up with(space mountain) for disney world opened in tommorowland. Two years later, in disneyland. In 2003 the track at disneylands space mountain broke, and the ride was completly refurbished over three years. On februrary 12th 2007, the disney co. decided to tear down space mountain at disney world for a 2009 refurb to disneylands version. There are already several petitions on the web to keep the ride the same.
