Every child deserves education so that they do not turn up dumb like those who deny them their rights.

This petition was created to help people realise that every child deserves a good education.

• The right to education is reflected in Article 26 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which states:

"Everyone has the right to education. Education shall be free, at least in the elementary and fundamental stages. Elementary education shall be compulsory. Technical and professional education shall be made generally available and higher education shall be equally accessible to all on the basis of merit. Education shall be directed to the full development of the human personality and to the strengthening of respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms. It shall promote understanding, tolerance, and friendship among all nations, racial or religious group, and shall further the activities of the United Nations for the maintenance of peace. Parents have a prior right to choose the kind of education that shall be given to their children."

• Education is one of the fundamental human rights that should not be denied. However, in a volatile country like Palestine, the rights of these innocent children have been denied. They do not have access to education. If there are any, they lack adequate facilities and are living in unsafe and uncomfortable conditions.

A small amount of work can make a big difference. Let us all join this petition to show our support and wisdom that every child deserves an education!
