Final supporters
We do not support the Town of Edgewood's Resolution 2014-01 and its desire to investigate the formation of an Edgewood School District. We feel this action was taken in response to special interests and the voice of a small minority. We therefore formally request that Resolution 2014-01 be immediately rescinded so that the Edgewood Town Council and its Mayor can focus their efforts and energy on the pressing matters that are of benefit to the entire community.

MESD has been great for my family. Edgewood wants to create a disaster and call it a district. NO THANKS.
Enough with this nonsense. Leave our schools alone and fix the roads instead.
The Town council needs to stop worrying about schools and start worrying about bringing actual business to town. Ridiculus.
totaly uncalled for. keep our district together!
this is a total waste of taxpayer money. my kids go to mesd and they are doing just fine. quit playing politics with our childrens education

My Kids have received an excellent education from MESD for over the last 12 years. They will be prepared for college. The only thing that the Town of Edgewood will accomplish is to water down the limited funds available to education in NM. Their ability to offer any quality programs will be extremely limited. Instead of standing behind a quality district that does a terrific job educating our children, it would rather try to create its own school district. That will be as effective as the Town of Edgewood has been in bringing in affordable housing and quality jobs... If they proceed, my family and I will boycott all Edgewood businesses!
