In recent years, Malaysia has seen a significant rise in enrichment centres, driven by the growing demand for supplementary education. Many parents now view enrichment education as essential for enhancing their children’s learning experience. However, this rapid expansion has also raised concerns about the quality and consistency of the education provided.

We, the International Grafinity Association (IGA), believe that the progress of a nation is deeply tied to the education of its youth. To ensure that enrichment centres contribute meaningfully to this vision, we are in the process of developing an accreditation system for Enrichment Educator Standards.

• Mental health awareness (in collaboration with approved panels such as the Psychological Development Division)
• Effective communication
• Situational management

We have visited Jabatan Pembangunan Wanita and Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia to discuss mental health issues in Malaysia, ensuring that our accreditation addresses key challenges.

We call on the Malaysian government, specifically Kementerian Dalam Negeri (Ministry of Home Affairs) and Kementerian Sumber Manusia (Ministry of Human Resources), to:

• Establish and implement a nationwide accreditation of Educator Standards for all enrichment centres and private tutors.
• Ensure that the accreditation process includes assessments by government-approved mental health panels.

By implementing this accreditation, we aim to:

• Ensure that every educator and private tutor is certified, competent, and fully equipped to provide a safe, supportive, and high-quality learning environment for our children.
