Urgency to eliminate the TEAS test required by hundreds of Nursing Schools nationwide. Why? The TEAS test measures only your competency in higher level math and English. Practicing as a Nurse does NOT require any higher level of math or English what so ever. Empathy is disregarded. Human understanding undervalued. And unless measuring competency changes significantly, our country will suffer great losses of incredible Nurses simply because they are not mathematically inclined. This has to change.
