Hello everyone! My name is Ellery Rohr and I am a freshman here at Illinois Wesleyan. I am currently attending as an undecided major.

Before I begin on my thoughts towards the Senator position, I would like to tell you a little bit about myself! I come from a small town near Kankakee, IL and have always loved to be involved with my community. I am very passionate about the well-being of those around me and completing service for organizations in my area. I have been involved with the American Legion and numerous food pantries over the past few years. I was fortunate enough to be able to attend a private Catholic high school where service and academics were our number one priority in making a difference.

My past leadership opportunities have become a very important part of my life and have shown me the importance of making changes where issues may arise. I am pursuing a senator position in order to continue to fulfill my goals of leading my community in positive ways. It is very important to me that all students have a chance to voice their opinions and give suggestions to how we can better our campus. As a senator, I would be thrilled to talk more about the well-being of IWU's students, how we can serve others within the community, and the value of our academics at IWU.
