On October 3, 2022 Rutgers University announced that it has reinstated its mask mandate due to multiple complaints from three faculty unions (AAUP-AFT, AAUP-BHSNJ, & PTLF) which represent the University. Therefore, the mask mandate is reinstated for all classrooms and libraries, which means Rutgers is the final university in the state of NJ that is still requiring masks.

With that being said, the loud minority will not be silenced, and we refuse to back down until our medical rights are fully restored and granted to us as tax paying students of the state university of New Jersey.

We the undersigned students, parents, faculty, of the Rutgers community hereby sign this petition to demand for our medical rights to be restored, and for the mask mandate to be lifted.
