I started this petition as I read more stories and news articles about what is currently happening in Canada today as relation to Aboriginal Rights. This is important as many Aboriginals in Canada continue to face discrimination today. Aboriginals also have to suffer on their reserves which have inadequate housing, low resources, high unemployment rates, high illiteracy rates and a low healthcare system. Signing this petition will help raise awareness and help to put an end to the violation of Aboriginal Rights.
