Foster kids get treated completely unfairly in medical care. Take it from me im one myself. For example, my sister went to the eye doctor because she was complaining that she couldn't see. Simple enough, right? Not as easy as it sounds. She had to go to two different eye doctors just to get glasses she needed. Then once we got the prescription we went to the state covered eye glass store. They had only 5 options for her to choose from, which if you wear glasses you know that's not a lot of options for anyone, let alone a teenage girl, who (fyi) is very picky on her fashion. To top all of this off we were told we had to wait 6 weeks to get the glasses thatshe couldn't see without. We also didn't get the next day option. My Foster dad, Craig, took my sister to Lens Crafters and bought my sister glasses that she loves.

Ihave personally experience the unjust Medicare. My Foster mom, Jennee, and I had called my doctor repeatedly over the course of4 weeks. She did not bother to call us back, as well as the nurses refused to set up an appointment.
