EQUALITY: A Stand for the LGBT Community
The LGBT community, also referred to as the gay community, is a loosely defined grouping of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) and LGBT-supportive people, organizations, and subcultures, united by a common culture and social movements.
Lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people in the Philippines have a distinctive culture but limited legal rights. Gays and lesbians are generally tolerated, if not accepted, within Filipino society, but widespread discrimination remains.
Why do other people hates the LGBT community? What they have done to you? What I have done to you? Yes, I am one of them. I stand for the right of every LGBT in the Philippines. We are all created equal, but what happen now? Discrimination of gender is now one of the growing rate issues widely in the whole world. Few countries accepted them but few still criticize them.
LGBT in the Philippines, is somehow accepted but only with few legal rights. Thats why I shout for equality. We are doing nothing to those who do not accept us but why? Maybe we are not like you, but this is us. This is how we show our self. Let us live peacefully as everyone wanted. Let us be ourselves. Respect be gets respect.
GO FOR THE ACCEPTANCE. GO FOR THE EQUALITY.
