A Talk Show For Everyday People
Everyday people are making a comeback and here at Every Way Woman talk show we want to give them an opportunity to share their story. This petition is to convince the decision makers in Hollywood that a talk show that features everyday hosts and everyday guests would equal great television programming. Our focus is on everyday life and helping our audience find a solution to their problems while entertaining them at the same time. Our format of a five panel isn't new but Every Way Woman concept and conversations of celebrating everyday people, not celebrities, is. The concept began out of necessity.
Two women searching for a format that discussed issues that impacted their daily lives created Every Way Woman talk show. Madison and Yolando wanted women that look like them and understood what it was like to make sacrifices for their families. Women who were juggling school, careers, and family and finding a little "me" time for themselves. The information needed to be in one spot. The issues had to be real and the co-hosts had to be different from the hosts already on television.
Every Way Woman values diversity and authenticity. Our hosts' backgrounds include Indian/Pakistani, Native American, Latina, African American Korean and more. The show provides women and men a place to come together to listen and be heard, to talk about their hopes and concerns, to discuss not only the important events that affect them, but to promote their own ideas and entrepreneurial dreams.
Our segments are exciting, interactive and dig a little deeper than the standard conversations on television. For example, while most shows might give one interview on breast cancer, relegated to only Breast Cancer Awareness Month, our show partnered with Breastlink, a one-stop shop for breast cancer patients to see doctors across the specialties they will need to diagnose, treat and restore the breast to do a series of segments that would give viewers all the information they would need to research options.
