With the addition of a new student in Mrs. Posts' class, both third grade classrooms have 25 students. Pursuant to the Board of Education policies in section 5128, the maximum allowable amount is 25 students per classroom. We as parents and tax payers feel this number is not conducive to learning.

We the undersigned, Latimer Lane families of third grade students, ask that the students be placed into three classes for next years 4 th grade.

The Board of Education is finally feeling the heat because this push has gained serious steam. They cannot keep ignoring the reality that our kids are packed into these rooms like sardines. Keep the pressure on these bureaucrats until they authorize a third section.

25 kids is way too many for one teacher to handle. the kids get lost in the shuffle and its impossible for them to get the help they need. we really need a third class next year.

My son has really struggled with the larger class size We are preparing for a formal PPT evaluation to see if his struggles are related to personal issues vs what is related to class structure I think this class size is suboptimal for him and for his classmates

Smaller class size equals the opportunity for the teacher to give more individualized attention to each student allowing them the best opportunity to learn and grow. Teachers will be less overwhelmed. Students will be more successful= Improved test scores that prove just how wonderful that we all know Latimer Lane truly is.
