This Petition has been created for members of the community to express interest in having facilities added to our little park on Henty Grove.
The addition of a small play ground, a picnic table and completion of the grassed area will provide a nice safe place for our kids to play and for the community to come together.
The developers have finalised work to the park and upkeep has been handed over to the Shire of Mundaring, I spoke with the Shire and was informed that there are currently no plans for finishing the area off. I was disappointed to hear this news as I have a 9 year old boy who goes to the park looking for new friends but no other children seem to hang out here because of the lack of facilities. the grassed area that we have is not really big enough to play sports on either.
I was told by the Shire of Mundaring to write in and request that facilities be added and they would take a look at it. the lady also explained that the more people that write in the better our chances.
So I have created this online petition that will be submitted to the Shire of Mundaring for consideration.

Definitely need a play area on this small park. I don't want my grandson having to walk across Helena valley road just to play outdoors.
As a father of three little children I would love to have a park within walking distance so that the children can play inside the comfort of the estate
Would love a park having 5 kids it would be great
Every Family needs to have access to fresh air, exercise and to their own community. Shire of Mundaring gave approval for two new estates but didn't provide new residents with any recreational area whicch will be suitable for families. There huge demand for a playground which will be close to our homes and safe for our childrens. We are saking for a park with benches, picnic tables, playground and maybe outdoor gym equipment. It is about building new healthy and happy community. Also please note that there isn't even one single bin for dog waste!
I'm in favour for a nice playground considering building blocks now squeeze out back yards and the explosive council rates a rip off nice to see something come back to the community!
A play ground here would be great.
I live next door in the Lifestyle village and it would be wonderful to be able to take our grandchildren there to play
