UPDATE: On July 27th, the CDC updated its guidance for schools
"CDC recommends universal indoor masking for all teachers, staff, students, and visitors to schools, regardless of vaccination status. Children should return to full-time in-person learning in the fall with proper prevention strategies in place."

With variants increasing the number of cases in our communities, FCASD needs to do more than just recommend wearing masks. Masks should be required for students until vaccinations are widely available for all children.

On Monday, August 9th the school board will be voting on the Health and Safety Plan. This petition will be used to show the board that FCASD parents support universal masking requirements to protect our kids and our community.
