Dear Shree Swanirayan Academy (Mombasa),
Even as most of us now strive to survive in these unprecedented times, we remain cognisant of a few things; the situation is affecting most, if not all of us including our beloved teachers and school. The circumstances have forced us to adapt in unexpected and unprepared for ways. While children are distanced from the much needed hands on support from their teachers, parents have stepped in to shoulder a substantial part and cost of the learning process. This may well strengthen bonds and create stronger involvement and collaboration by the time we pull out of this situation but for that to happen, we must face a singular truth; we CANNOT do it on our own.
In just a few months the pandemic has dealt a significant blow to the economy, Mombasa has taken a double hit given events in the past year. Very few of us have been spared this steep down turn and it is in this spirit that we reach out to the school administration recognising that a 10% deduction, although welcome, is neither reflective of the drastic economic circumstances nor the additional learning related outlay that parents have to incur. Indeed, these additional costs go over and above the 10% debit.
We would therefore like to request, as loyal parents, that in order for us all to get through this as a unit, the academy extends a more substantial deduction in the realm of 50% of the school fees to echo the accommodations of similar learning institutions.

The school management has received our petition but they have yet to offer a formal response. I am currently reaching out to other parents to ensure our collective position remains clear.

Dear authorities............. My suggestion is this hard time everyone need financial support........ I hope cutting fees would not reflect salary of teacher..... If thats the case i would prefer paying full amount...... But the other way is that authorities can give us installment each with good discountd amount n enough time to pay it..... Thak you
I have 2 daughters in Shree and am not going to work because I am a barber and government said not to go work,so I request for the 60% discount.
I appreciate the school and all the effort they are making but 10% discount is too little considering the situation. The administration should be considerate and extend atleast 50% just enough for salaries, and school upkeep expenses. This is not the time to make profits , not only is it unfair but immoral.
I fully support this petition, and parents of Shree Swaminarsyan Academy in these trying times. I propose a reduction of 25% Parent for 3 kids Class 3, 8, and 11
The proposed discount is not in any relation to the delivery as for example in playgroup children are only receiving 2 pages to paint .because brought him to school to have social ccontacts to age mates

I am in support of a 50% discount as we were home for part of second term and yet we had paid full fees and are now using the online platform.
