Felon, Abuser, Repeat Offender Wes Watson Must Be Held Accountable

PETITION TO THE HONORABLE JUDGE OF THE MIAMI-DADE COURT
RE: DEMAND FOR MAXIMUM ACCOUNTABILITY IN THE CASE OF WES WATSON
To the Honorable Judge Presiding Over the Case of Wes Watson,
We, the undersigned and concerned citizens, respectfully petition this court to hold Wes Watson fully accountable for his violent and unlawful actions.
Wes Watson is currently facing charges of Aggravated Battery and Felony Battery for an attack in which he repeatedly struck an unarmed man over 40 times in the head, kicked him in the face multiple times, and used a weighted belt as a weapon, while an accomplice assaulted the victim with a dumbbell. The victim did not retaliate and was heard begging for the attack to stop, crying out, “OK, OK,” yet Watson continued his assault.
A Pattern of Violence and Endangerment
Watson’s history of violence extends beyond this single incident. Public records and video evidence demonstrate a longstanding pattern of aggressive behavior, including acts of abuse towards women and inappropriate conduct in front of children.
One such incident in widely circulated footage, Watson makes a statement that some have found deeply inappropriate and concerning, particularly given the presence of a young child.
there are some concerning observations that shows Watson making an inappropriate and sexually suggestive remark while in the presence of his girlfriend’s young daughter. In an Instagram story post, Watson stated that he “needed his dck to be grabbed”* while in front of his girlfriend’s two-year-old child.
This statement raises serious legal and ethical concerns. Exposure to such language could constitute emotional or psychological harm to a minor, potentially violating:
• Florida Statutes § 827.03 (child abuse), which includes acts that may cause mental or emotional injury, and
• Florida Statutes § 847.0133 (exposing minors to harmful material), which criminalizes exposing children to obscene or inappropriate content.
The presence of a child in an environment where such behavior is normalized is deeply concerning, especially given Watson’s documented history of violence and abusive conduct.
Continued Threat to Public Safety
While awaiting trial for the current charges, Watson was again caught on camera attempting another act of violence. At a local gym, he invited an individual under false pretenses, only to have him harassed and physically intimidated by his associates.
In addition to his violent tendencies, Watson has openly admitted on his Instagram (where he has a following of 980,000 people) to engaging in illegal drug trafficking and maintaining connections with known criminals. He has also boasted about his associations with rapper Rick Ross and has publicly claimed to keep members of the Chinese mafia in his circle—including individuals in possession of firearms.
As a convicted felon, Watson’s association with individuals in possession of firearms constitutes a clear violation of Florida Statutes § 790.23, which prohibits felons from having direct or indirect access to firearms. His continued criminal affiliations and public boasts of illegal activity pose a grave danger to society.
Our Demand for Maximum Accountability
Given Watson’s repeated violent offenses, his disregard for the law, and his continued endangerment of others, we respectfully urge the court to impose the maximum sentence allowable under Florida law to protect the public and deter further harm.
We trust that the justice system will act decisively, sending a clear message that violence, intimidation, and criminal behavior will not be tolerated. We urge the court to uphold the law and hold Wes Watson fully accountable for his repeated acts of aggression, ensuring that public safety and the well-being of innocent children are prioritized above all else.
Respectfully submitted,
We the undersigned
