we pay $200 per household a year in community fees. For what? Rarely having trees watered? Parks poorly taken care of? A public Fountian? The one major attraction McKenzie Towne has is the Fountian park which is getting a major long over due renovation. This park is available to everyone and anyone wanting to use it. WE PAY FOR IT. Now we will be getting bathrooms which will be for public use that WE ALSO HAVE TO PAY FOR . How long will they stay even remotely nice? We see how the parks are taken care of do you really think a public washroom for the city to use will be taken care of? We need OUR COMMINUTY fees to finally go to something for us as a community to enjoy. All of our surrounding neighbourhoods have gated parks some even without fees!!!
